Portugal - Fatima to Lisbon

After leaving Fatima we continued south with our next stop at Batalha. We knew there was a monastery here but we were not expecting this amazing building. As we entered the town it was immediately obvious where it was. Wow! It is also known as the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria and building was started on it in the late 1300s.
